2moro is Valentines Day and my 26th birthday in 2 days time. Im single this year... so not gonna make a big deal out of it. im finished work at 7p.m so its home to a hot shower, comedy dvd, loads chocolate and a steaming mug of hot chocolate. any one is free to join me .. lol...

I already told you I had the perfect man for you......he could have been there on your 26th birthday! lol!!!! Hope you have a great birthday! Thanks again for the reminder and ideas on how to relax. I could use a hot shower and some comedy since my 10 year old and I just got into it. My bf asked me this morning if I wanted to go anywhere for Valentine's. I didn't respond.....I just kept thinking.....it is a school night. I deserve a break....even if it is a school night. Dinner would be great.
Hi Rebecca, Loads of chocolate and hot chocolate sound yummy~ I am alone this year also on Valentine's day, but I did buy me something very special this year~a sheltie puppy..he is so precious, but I won't have him here with me for another 12 days or so as he is only 6 weeks old..Aww am Mom again and so excited. Hey I can bring pizza and diet coke and of course, a box of chocolates~~do you like pot of gold? They is my favorite..have a good nite..take care and keep smilin. Diane
And my valentine just informed me he got stuck in colorado, so he won't be back until tomorrow afternoon and then leaves for another trip tomorrow night! Oh well I believe St. Valentine will find it acceptable to celebrate a few days late...LOL
I have to say Valentine's day is probably my favorite holiday!! Hope you all have a good one, even if you have to by your own roses this year!! (not that I've ever had to do that)
And I love diet coke and pizza, what a good combo. And chocolate covered cherries, yeah they're all gone.
I remember a time and place many, many years ago that I couldn't work on Valentines Daty (I worked at a restaurant) because it hurt me so much to see other people happy. It reminded me of how alone I was. But that was then, and I slowly learned that it was okay to be alone. Because there is a difference between being alone, and being lonely. Fast foward many years now, and I have the love of my life. I fell in love with him at college and it wasn't meant to be. We were with other people, and we eventually lost touch. Somehow we found each other again. I wasn't expecting it. I was content with my life. It wasn't perfect, but okay. One never knows what HP has in store for us. (I wish we could get hints once in a while though.) When the timing is right things will happen.
You have a lot healthier attitude than I did way back when. Movies, hot chocolate, really decadent popcorn, a warm kitty and extra chocolate - yep perfect way to spend any day. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! Love you too!
