My avatar is what I did for myself this weekend. I happened to the grocery store and they were selling 1 dozen roses for 1$. They are on their last legs they were so pretty I picked up 2$ worth. I'm sooo glad I did they look so pretty on my kitchen table (clean kitchen table). It has been nice to just enjoy them this weekend.

Pushka, good for you! I have a large year 'round garden and always have fresh flowers in the kitchen and bedroom. But sometimes I just want to buy a nice bouquet of flowers from the market for something different. So I do. (Flowers are cheap here, I can get a lovely bouquet for under $1.50.) I'm so glad you bought those roses. They're beautiful, and trying not to sound like a TV commercial - you're worth it!
I'm going to have to remember the tylenol deal I put that stuff that comes with the flowers in the water. So far they look pretty good. I had a good laugh I gave my daughter one that the stem had broken, so she put it in some water. Here comes my son and wants to know where his is .. lol. So he has one that is in a glass now too. It was just nice to do something that I can see. I've started walking 3x a week as well. I won't today it's going to be almost 90, by the end of the week it will be barely in the 70's. It's a self care week, which part of that actually includes cleaning my house.
