life is good!

After suffering for over 24 hrs. w/ a broken filling, I got it fixed on Friday! It was the back one on the bottom right. My tongue was scraping against it for all that time. I could barely talk & eating & drinking were almost out of the question! But, thanks to my God of my understanding it got filled in time for the loooong labor day weekend. It took my dentist just a little while to fix it & he saw me earlier than my appt. I guess the thanks goes to him & his goodness & kindness. I couldn't thank him enough for fixing it so I did not have to suffer all weekend.

I hope you all had a wonderful last weekend of summer & all your kids are back to school & happy to go through another school year.

I had to wait all weekend too to get on this computer as I mentioned in my last post. I have so much going on in my head but I wil spare you all of the details. I am just really content w/ my life right now but sometimes I don't have a lot of serenity!

I lost my old ODAT a few weeks ago at an out of town meeting--25 years old. I am hoping to get it back next week.

Well...not much more to report! I will get back to y'all soon!

Kathleen

So glad you got it fixed before the weekend! I'm sitting here praying my temporary crown doesn't come off. I get the permanent on next week, thankfully. My dentist passed away suddenly at the age of 56 back in May. I was in shock. Cancer took him in less than 2 months. I put off getting major dental work done because he had been our dentist for 16 years and I didn't know who to trust to do the work. Well, a new pair of dentists bought his business(they were friends of his) and I went to the female doctor 2 weeks ago for this crown. She was wonderful!!!! No pain, not even at the injection site for the novocaine. I was so relieved and considered her to be a huge blessing. I really didn't want to try to find a new office, a new dentist, etc. So grateful to her. Now, she just has another one to do after this one where I have lost some of my old silver fillings. I'm almost looking forward to it....well, almost, LOL!
