Things can only get better! Sometimes long distance relationships can be tricky but I can truly say absence makes the heart grow fonder. I am living proof of that. My current significant other is miles away but our trust level is high enough that it is working. Today I see the hope in all of it. Sometimes I feel a sense of loneliness but because of the Program of Al anon & my sponsor & my other text buddy, I don't have to feel so alone these days. They both keep it real & share their experience strength & hope with me. Not a day doesn't go by that I feel connected spiritually. I am happy to say that contentment is the way to go. As long as I don't get complacent, everything seems to fall into place. I am so grateful that sometimes I think my life is next to perfect. As long as I don't get anxious. I heard someone say that you can't be anxious & grateful at the same time. Isn't that the truth!
I will continue to keep in touch on here. I did notice that there wasn't a lot of people participating. I guess a bunch of us have fallen out. That is OK though because it will continue to be important to us who keep it current.

Gratitude is crucial to my recovery. Without gratitude I cannot please God. He is the key to getting healthy. Where would I go without Him?
