Commenting of the importance of their role, they note that while God willingly removes the defects, they needed to cooperate to remove the negative thinking and habits that contributed to them lest they just reproduce.
Reminder Character defects stem from habit and will need my cooperation along with God's help to remove. As I diligently and thoroughly address them one by one, I can see them replaced by more rewarding impulses with god's help.

I know, of course, because I have done this.
Working with my humble request means that I am truly putting the work in on my side to allow a real change to be evident when my higher power does the heavy lifting.
As usually is the case, if I'm not getting the expected results it's not someone else's fault, not my higher power letting me down, it's simply an area I need to align closer to spiritual principles.

Paul, thanks for your service and great share. I have had on muddy boots at times....but mostly I try to work with God to PLEASE remove my character defects! I'm ready to say bye bye. They serve no purpose but to weigh me down. Trying hard to do my part. Progress not perfection.

Thank you Paul for your service/ESH and shares. I got a kick out of mopping floor with muddy boots on.
I ask my HP to remove the defects that impede my spiritual growth. Grateful for shares.

I must say that the humble part was something I had to work at, just like realizing that "mopping the floor with muddy boots on"
(just love that analogy), is not a humble state indeed for me. Yes Lyne, progress not perfection but always working at it!!!
