I remember my mom saying often when I was a child "God, grant me patience, and grant it right now!"
I can get very impatient, especially with myself. When I am facing a challenging problem, I often focus on myself and what I am doing, and after a while ask myself why it isn't working yet. Some things need more time, and sticking with my approach without impatience is important. Being patient as well and waiting for solutions can also be very challenging. I do believe that when the time is right, a solution will present itself. Waiting until the time is right is often the hard part!

I agree that Al-Anon has given me so many tools to fall back on to help with those
times when I am so impatient and anxious. Patience is definitely a virtue!!
My HP sends me so many signs when there is a long duration issue and I just have
to have faith that the right answers will come at the right time.

Good Morning. Thank you Skorpi for your service/ESH and Debbie for your share. I am in that terrible place when you are seeing all the signs and waiting in anxious anticipation for what's to come. I reached out to my mother for comfort. Truth is I secretly hoped for a "come home darling " but she suggested of all things the Serenity Prayer. Not satisfied, I thought of calling a close uncle-in-law and begging him to take my spouse on a trip and would gladly drain my savings to pay for it! Needless to say, I took my mother's response as a sign to get back to basics- Al-Anon style. Grateful to have members who teach me how to wait patiently and a program that provides tools to function in my dysfunction. We have another gorgeous day here...birds are chirping away...beautiful music. Enjoy:)
