Thanks Debbie for your service. I've come to appreciate and enjoy a sense of humor. For much of my life it did not exist. My dog is a daily source of comic relief. I can laugh at many things now, including myself. Grateful member.

Having my 6 year old grandson for a couple hours a day after school a couple days a week is sometimes exhausting for me. I had my older granddaughters when they were young and visited my A son on weekends but they are almost 21 and 23 years old now. I no longer have that kind of energy and this child is in the autism spectrum with add and really demands entertainment all the time. There are many nights you can find me and hubby70 and 73 years old playing zombie hide and seek and/or tag around our house. We wouldnt have it any other way as he has so much more structure here and definitely gives a lot of joy and laughter and meaning to our golden years

Good morning
I was asking myself the other day when was the last time I have laughed. It's not that there's not been anything to make me smile or laugh,it's more that I have been focused on my problems more than the good things. I needed this reminder today. It's ok to let go and relax and enjoy the simple things,it's just simply ok to and I need to keep telling myself that.
Although the picture of that cat did make me laugh. LOL

Spending time with my brother. We are very close in age, and close in friendship as well. He always seems to have a positive spin on things (even when things are rough). We do not get to see that much of each other anymore, but I really enjoy when he visits my parents b/c I get to see him too, and we tend to text memes to each other during the week.
As I get older and understand myself better, I find it interesting that not only do I look more like my dad & his side of the family, but also have more mental attributes influenced by him as well. My brother is very much my Mom's son, both in physical appearance and mental attitude. I am the first born - I wonder if that makes a difference.
PS: Gailsy - I love your share! The fact that you and your spouse would play "Zombie hide-and-seek" with your grandson is priceless! I can just envision it!
