I am celebrating tomorrow! 37 years ago I walked into my 1st Al anon meeting not knowing what a ride it would take me on,

The people I'd meet & the places it would take me. I am grateful for every minute of every day of my recovery! I am content & even happy where I am. It has been well worth all that I have been through. You all made it possible to learn & grow into the woman I am today. I am grateful. God is good. Losing my mother & my husband in this program has taken me to places. But ultimately I have been resilient & have survived even thrived. Thanks to all of you for my recovery! As a wise woman once said " I never had it so good!"

{{{Hoot Nanny}}}. Congrats on your anniversary tomorrow. Those of us in the program understand when we hear "miracles can happen.". We are the miracles! In June I will have 12 yrs since I joined the MIP and 10 yrs in my home F2F group, thanks to Betty. I pay attention to my anniversaries because alanon has truly changed my life in a remarkable positive way. Grateful member always!
