I guess it just comes naturally when you work it enough

I have this lovely little friend who idolizes me, according to her mom, both girls think I am the best, LOL
anyway, the 13 year old got rid of her 9 year old sister, told her to go home, she would meet her there (they live up the street from me) and she sidled up to me and wanted me to give her "love advice"
I was thrilled that she would trust me with knowledge that she has met her first love..So she wanted to know how do you tell a good boy from bad and she told me about her BF who sounded like a gem and I gave her ESH on MY first love when MY love and I were only 12 going 13 when WE started
I did not tell her what to do, I just told her the story about MY first love and how we had supervised dates/hanging out by his dad who was divorced and how a "date" would be helping dad tune up an old chevy, or changing out a battery in another car, "under the hood" dating was our thing because he and dad were car freaks..Dad would take us bowling...FRIENDS FIRST and then I told "G" about how things evolved into hand holding and THEN, AFTER we were an "item" he ASKED me if he could kiss me one night as he walked me to my door, dad in the car and I got all bashful and nodded and he kissed me on the CHEEK
it wasn't till a lot later that he would gently give me a kiss on the mouth
When I shared all that with her I told her I loved him because he treated me like a princess and that there are STILL boys out there who will, we girls just gotta be picky and wait for the right one
After the story, she hugged me and you know what she said????
"you tell me stuff and make me feel like I am part of you, sharing with you, and I never feel like you are talking down to me or telling me what to do----I love you"
Well I thought about it and yea, I was 100%, no additives no high fructose corn syrup, just pure AL-ANON and I didn't even notice till this lovely little angel told me she loved the way I teach her stuff..
now THAT is program at its best..I walked to my back sliding glass door, feeling really warm in my heart!!!
Just had to share with you guys..Program is becoming more and more 2nd nature to me and I love it!! My life is better, my relationships are better, I deal with challenges better, yea, I am a work in progress, but I like what I see now
