Hi Everybody, and I am going to say "Everybody". I have been reading most of your sharings, and I am so very, very upset and am going to be very, very honest, I am crying at what I have read. I don't understand what has happened, and I don't want to know.
But what I do know is that your are tearing each other apart, and for me it is awful to read. Your are all part of my Family, sure, I don't share a lot, but I read all of your sharings, and have got to know and care and love all of you. I grew up with a hurtful, crazy Family, and when I found this one, I thought it was different.
I can see so many have been hurt by what has been said, people are not game to share like they did, including me. This is the only Al-Anon that I can have, I am a Lone Member, and that is not easy. I love Al-Anon, and always will, it has saved my life and sanity.
So, I don't care if I upset anyone, I am going to ask you all, to stop, what is going on. It is the message you are sending out to others, I need to feel safe, I know longer do. I believe that Al-Anon is an individual program for individual people, we are all here to hopefully, recover, not to tear each other apart.
I hope and pray that you all think about what I have just said, and it can go back to the most wonderful program that was.

I guess I am missing something??? I try to read a couple posts daily, and try to respond to the daily as I do the Monday service, but I don't see people hurting each other here. Who is hurting who? Lyne

Cabin fever. Globally. This too shall pass. Can't speak for anyone else....but for myself I have noticed a sharp need to be a bit of a turd lately. I put it down to collective anxiety. This is a good group. It will come back to it's loving self perhaps with a bit less need to be right and a bit more of a will to be happy.
