In todays reading the author is speaking about when our problems are overwhelming and that

the fault may lie with the fact that our perception of the problem is the problem!

When we parse out and go beyond the problematic thinking we realize that we do have an

option to "Let Go and Let God."  

Sometimes our problems are ones that we do not have any control over, stepping back and

admitting that to ourselves is very difficult, but when we do make that determination, it is/was

an epiphany for me!!  

Todays Reminder:

well as I can, knowing it will pass if I do not let it overwhelm me.  I will not let the good

I have learned that under certain circumstances having discussions with a few people in my life

can be very difficult.  By "Keeping it simple" and "Easy does it really does go a long way to

maintaining my peace and serenity.  I do not have to be right, nor do I have to subject myself

to abuse, it is all in my power and perspective.

Thank you so much for your share. Acceptance is a hard one for me. I am either feast or famine. One week I have one days week which stretched into maybe 2 and a half the next over 6 days. 

Accepting that I have to go with reality if pretty hard

Of course my issues now and my responsibilities are si much more manageable. Living  with an alcoholoc/addict was one long emergency. 

I have my own goals which do not seem to be moving at a fast enough pace 

Meantime I am working on acceptance 

I am glad that I have to to remind me of the need for acceptance

  I learned early that i was expected to love the person, but not the problem. I have learned to love the various A's in my life, and everybody else, as well. But most of all to include myself in this list. I learned to say that I myself have problems and issues, but I, myself am not the problem.  Thanks, Debb...  ...

I most certainly did not accept disappointment quietly. I reacted to it 

I am struggling right now with either too much work or not enough of it 

.The issue with working is the 24 hour nature of it 

After I left work my employer called me at least 4/5 times 

That is pretty normal for them 

Of course I.have been working throughout the pandemic 

I have put in ways to make additional money if I need too 

I am pretty tired of being on this survival issue 

Setting limits is a real art

But  ... in the mean time would you consider taking part-time accounting work?  I have done

that in a pinch.  Social Security lets you work without penalty up to a certain amount of earnings,

I did it for 4 years.

Dear Debbie 

I agree that certain conversations with people especially those Inwork withcan be very difficult 

I learned more about one of my suoervisors this week.  I came to see how she is so abrupt.  That helps. 

I have other co workers who are incredibly difficult to deal with.  Luckily I do not have to dress/  

I had to be trained by one of ten over the past few weeks. The experience was extremely difficult.  

The less I.said the better. My schedule has been all over the place these past few weeks with training for a new job 

I am still not fully on board that is pretty difficult to plan a budget.

Maresie888, I can totally relate!! I remember how difficult it was with one particular person

I worked with and I tried so hard to keep my perception in check, but there was times where

there were situations that just sent me home to rest. I am glad that those times are behind

me.
