Hi old friends and new friends alike. I would like to start up the chat room meetings again. In this time of Covid and not being able to get out like I'd like, I wish I could go into the chat room like we used to be able to do and talk with people in real time. I will try to post more on this board too, but always liked the real time meetings the most. I know most of you go to Zoom meetings now from your f2f meetings, but I have never been able to learn how to do zoom. I will try to be in the meeting room 15 minutes before the posted meeting time and 15 minutes after. That is committing 30 minutes of my day, twice each day to getting this thing started up again, but I need your participation too. I see some of you on here (message board) that used to come to meetings, if you could pop in during meeting times and chat with me it would be greatly appreciated. Where two or more are gathered together there can be a meeting! I know that Courage is doing meetings Monday through Friday evening and I will try to be here in the morning and over the weekend. I go to church on Sunday morning, so won't be able to do that meeting, but can make it for the Sunday evening meeting at 7 pm EST. Hope to see all of you there!

Good to see you Overcome! Thank you so much for your service in trying to jump start the meetings here again on MIP. My experience is that these were absolute game changers for me, often daily/twice a day, when I first found MIP and was unable to get out and about as much as desired.
For anyone curious, please step over and stop by. You can use the same 'nickname' here or use a different one. It's a lovely additional tool to add to your recovery kit!

I did not attend much because of my timezone- right out of whack for me- and so I started sharing here on the message board mostly.
I did pop in a few months ago- where some of our night owls were catching up with each other... ...

I have not gone to zoom meetimgs. There is a meetimg on a Friday I.intend to go to
I rarely make it. I simply fall asleep. If I hear 10 minutes it is s record.

Thanks everyone for your support. We're still not getting many in the chat room meetings; but I will continue to try to be available during meeting times as long as I am able. I am currently looking for a job, so I can be present during the morning and evening meeting times most days; unless I have an interview scheduled in the morning. Most evenings courage and I are both there and would welcome any of you on the message board to come join us in a meeting. We also want to be there should any newbies drop in. Again thanks for your support.

I just noticed this post while scrolling through today. I to used to attend the chat meetings when i first joined and they were held on a regular basis. I will try to pop in for some again. Thank you for getting them going.

We'd love to have you serenity, I remember you from chat too. We still don't have very many coming at night and none so far during the morning meeting. I still 'hang out' in the room during that time just in case a random newbie comes in, I don't want them to come to an empty room. Once I land a job and have to start working again I won't be able to do that as much.

Monday and Friday meetings 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. EST
Saturday morning meeting 10 a.m., Saturday evening meeting 9 p.m.
Sunday evening meeting 7 p.m.
