I don't bring my personal crap to work, but I did open up with the off. mgr. of my little Tues. job, the only one I got, and told her my situation...We had become friends and we share stuff with each other
Well, after finding hazzardous stuff she just leaves for the dogs to get into, I texted my boss AND the off. mgr. and told them "can I PLEASE, not come in on Tues (today) and can I come on Jun5 when the roommate is gone AND I'll double back on Tues (our regular day) so as to not let stuff fall behind"
I told the boss in a text (hes horrible about getting back to us) the whole truth..I kept it brief, but laid my cards on the table and he was GREAT about it...He told "L" the off. mgr., "sure, you tell Rose to get the monster out and we'll see her on Fri the 5th"
I am sooo grateful that I am a good worker, honest and have a good repoir with bosses and off. mgrs, even tho I am , in the acct. dept. "over her" I consider her the glue of the place...Anyway, they were not only cool, but supportive and so sorry for me having to go through this...
telling the truth, keeping the focus on me, doing my best efforts wherever I am, paid off..AND people like to work with me because IF I can help someone, I will AND I keep gossip and crap out of the office..
they have this HUGE 1/2 chow, 1/2 lab. 12 yr. old female dog in office to protect while bossman is out doing the landscaping and she loves me to death...I always bring in a hard boiled egg for a snack and I "share" with Samantha..."L" and I feel very safe with that big bear of a dog in office...I want to really give 110% when I come back..These people are really cool, i hate QB online, but I like them...

HP is good...I prayed about this last night, telling HP I was so sorry to have to let this kind man down over this roommate, but I just could NOT leave my "fur kids" home with her and I'm not there to make sure she doesn't let them get into something life threatening...Tho I keep them away from her, we have a "rule" when BOTH of us are out, dogs have to be not only in MY room, but patrolling the whole house, so THAT is when they are at risk
and ya know what??? they don't like her getting near me or my bedroom...They are "OK" with her when shes in her room, sitting down, but they are funny..They want her keeping away from MY room and keeping distance from me.....
