Well the day began as dismal as I am letting go the roommate thing, then my BFF called me:
THANK YOU GOD....her insurance company approved, this am, the use of capsules to dry up her cancer.....
WEEEEEOOOOOO Now we can move forward to getting her back good again
Dr. will arrange for treatments to start...........I am SOOOO relieved....
we did a prayer together, thanking our HP for this great blessing
She should be starting her first capsules in about a week??? will find out more later, but they ARE APPROVED

Yeah David they said that the capsules are very effective and she has to take for a day and they will monitor her because they can hurt your liver but really they are way better than chemotherapy so they seemed pretty optimistic about it

The prognosis for lung cancer in particular are not good
Therr are treatments that can buy time in certain peoole. Sometimes certain peoole do indeed go into remission for a whime.
.
Nevertheless we all have to have #hope#.
For me #hope# has to be measured.
Isolation has been a big part of my problem
I do better when I have people in my life who I am sharing my daily struggles.
I hope you will reach out as you can to get support and underrstanding
That might not happen overnight

I know, Maresie, prognosis is never good for this type of cancer, BUT...where there is life, there is hope....I am VERY cautiously optomistic that at the very least, she will buy some time, but ya know??? HP can overcome anything of the world, so because I don't KNOW whats in her path, I'm just gonna "Love her while I got her"....my expectations are low...cautiously hopeful....I accept that it could go quite well.....or quite bad....so i stay within the guard rails of reasonable expectations, and steps 1,2,3..........Thank you for your 100% honesty to me...

Poor Kerry had to go to hospital yesterday and get MORE fluid drained out of that lung......shes so tired now, hardly wanted to talk to me...
pills will be ordered from pharmacie and I would THINK , SOON they will start her on them...Seems it is dragging on, but I guess with Insurance, it goes like that....
I'll keep ya'll posted on her...I felt SO bad for her today, talking with her, she sounded horrible...and it was fatigue from not being able to breath, then going to hospital to rectify that and then the fluid draining.....she said she can breath better, but feels just worn out
