Oh glad to be sad- close to weeping... just got news that our local old timer passed away last night. So close on the heals of our Betty.
our members, are just so gallant- in the face of adversity. Ten or 12 days ago we had a Zoom meeting- with 10 of us, and Gwen... and it was a simple meeting format with the serenity prayer at each end. The Chair was closing the meeting- and Gwen cut in- with her own valedictory. Very simple, straight and to the point.
It was a so sweet- and enduring memory! ... ... ...
It's not sad to be sad... I am glad to be sad with others around. Not alone any more. So grateful!
