Inside the rooms we get closer than outside, mostly... Our oldest old-timer is terminally ill- with five groups in our valleys, three are still functioning. The member was coming to a combined meeting next Monday- but our virus regulations makes that impossible. And a non starter.
In the hey-day her home was a haven for AA and family members. An open door.
So, this morning everyone is gathering around her using Zoom. I had trouble working out how to install zoom- but found the relevant password- and succeeded! No longer the victim I once was!
Okay- so I am predicting an emotional time. But a time I will be sharing- with people I know really well!
Prayer and/or kind thoughts would be appropriate- for all of us. We are all in this together! ...

Mmmm... thanks T.
Sometimes virtual reality can seem much bigger than actual reality- and so it was this morning.
To be included in the zoom talk was a big thing for me. Gw. always veered towards the Episcopalians and and we always had sweet energised faith talks... ...
...her closing words were, in many ways a farewell- with hope... ...incredible experience... ...

{{{David}}} Having recently lost Betty, you have my thoughts, prayers, love, and light, for you and your ill friend. Our present life-circumstances are hard enough without having to deal with death as well. I look for gratitude every day, and lean on HP for strength. I feel I need all the help I can get right now, Lyne

You and your friend will be in my nightly thoughts/gratitude list. I love how people are using Zoom to virtually get that connection... it is so important to humans! I loved to hear that you were present... giving you love, receiving their love & light!
