For everyone in my Al anon family: I wish you the happiest of holiday season. No matter where or who you are I ask for peace to lead the way of all your celebrations. I hope that however you celebrate, please remember to seek serenity in all you do! Don't let the hustle & bustle get you stressed over maybe even too excited. I am really speaking for me when it comes to getting too excited. I actually feel the most excited sometimes just seeing a white Christmas. I guess I have a love of the simple things. I even get a thrill out of the deer in my yard. I am so blessed to live up here where we can look out our window & see the beauty of God's creation. I hope this doesn't offend anyone. I guess I just want to let you all know that I love all of you! You have helped me pull through in my darkest days & celebrated my triumphs & the successes among other things. I am grateful that you may feel the same way too.
Peace in all this season,
Love you

Thank you for the well-wishing of Peace in my holidays! I needed a touchstone today, and look! Here you are!
I've been trying to not let the media's version of this holiday season get me low... I have tried to have patience with those on the road who feel the need to get wherever they are going "right away!" (there are a lot of them this time of year!), I have given my time/resources to charity. I too, am relishing the simple things - like a house with their holiday lights all ablaze, or finally seeing some Autumnal color in the trees! I am counting my blessings too... my friends here on MIP are one of them!
Peace to you too!

No white Christmas for us up here! It made it easier for traveling. I hope for another year of happiness & serenity! 2020 should be clear. Like 20/20 vision. One day at a time!
