In a short time I will leave home again (Hawaiii) and move back up to the Central Valley of CA. Do I wanna? Kinda sorta. I have to be fair honest and just with and to my wife who came here 25 years ago to be with me not that I needed her to be and she came anyway willingly and involved. Now it is her time and need to go back up with her family...the answer to the question What do I do? I give back what was given to me. HP is nodding HP's head. It is not a matter if I like it or not. This is where my spirit was born...there is where my recovery started. No whining. Will check in from Clovis Ca. ((((hugs))))

Wow, Jerry! Good luck with the move and your views on the move are very inspiring. We don't have to like everything.....but when HP nods.....it's time to follow. Your wife is surely blessed with you by her side. Best to you and we welcome you back to the mainland, my friend.
Hugs,
Ellen

Please tell me that the part of California you are moving to isn't on fire or about to crack off the continent. I think it's too far inland for the latter.
When I think of a person I always, if I know, think of him or her as existing in a certain place on the globe. It's going to take a little while for me to adjust to your not being in Hawaii. You seem to be taking it awfully well. It breaks off a piece of my heart for you to be leaving all that wonderfulness. And your group! I hope you get to at least go back for a visit every year. Even when things are tough, I could always remind myself, at least he is in Hawaii.
Bless your sweet heart.

Temple it is 100 + miles inland from the Pacific which is one of my pains as I live right on the Pacific and my home group meets30+ feet from the shore line. I can deal with that change somewhat. I can fly back home at will when my spirit starts to groan....geeee.
