During the ultrasound, suddenly the line came to me:
"In the room, the women come and go...
Talking of Michaelangelo."
T. S. Eliot, The Lovesong of J. Alfred Prufrock
Had to share--Laughter is, to me, very therapeutic.
In my first Al-Anon meeting, the sweet young things, who'd been in program long enough to start getting it, would tell on themselves, and laugh...."I am so sick!"

We were forced to study "Eliot" as he was called...
...treasured memories, Temple. I had no way- and no where to look forwards.
I never actually thought I would be looking back- with surprise, delight and joy! ...

Serenity--
I thought of you when I posted.
David
You are an inspiration--and still growing by leaps and bounds.
I love Eliot for some of his images--the sunset compared to a bruise, or a patient lying etherized on a table.

Oh Rosie,
I am so sorry your baby got sick, and so glad you are sturdy enough to be able to clean up after her.
My family were rather amazed that I could actually take care of a baby. Well, she was mine and a certain amount of Grace comes along with little ones.
The time she ate salad flying back from Acapulco (I wasn't on the trip) as a late teen and experienced projectile vomiting, I have to admit I just waited for Hubs to get home from work. Nothing bothers him, except for injections. .
I'm such a wus--I was grown before I knew it was possible to upchuck w/o somebody holding my head and my tummy.
I'm getting a little better. I don't always retch when somebody gets too graphic in descriptions.
