We have lived in this house for over 25 years and HP suggested clearly that I sell it and just right after the suggestion a neighbor woman walked up my driveway and said...."I want to buy your house".
My Higher Power does not forward it's plans ahead of time yet wants me open to receive and act upon whatever HP lays before me. The gal who is buying our place has a bit smaller place for rent and we won't have to pay electrical, water, computer services and such. She will out of our rent payment which seems weird after paying a mortgage for so long. I am grateful that Wells Fargo won't be in my life and I will have better neighbors or maybe that is the neighbors mutual blessing...what do you think?
Life will be getting simpler which works for me also. Don't even have to move anything more than 50 yards!!
This letting go and letting God has great consequences from the practice. I suggest it. (((((hugs)))))

Wow, Jerry! If that isn't HP at work, I don't know what is! Simpler is good, moving 50 yards is good.....its all good! Miracles in Progress! Love it.

Jerry, that's awesome. We too are moving - we have been "browsing" at houses - my house is 60 years old and needs some major updates, plus it's the one I shared with my ex, so we've been just moving in that direction gradually. We were offered by the builder a large discount on a finished new home for which the buyer had had to back out.
It's been interesting how I've put my step work in action while going through my 20 years of accumulated things in this home. I just don't want to move everything and want to lighten my load. There's no basement in this house, so my bad habit of putting stuff downstairs to avoid dealing with it has to stop.
My higher power has a huge sense of humor, but I do feel loved by it.
Good luck in your move, short as it is - sounds like a great opportunity.

I am giving you hugs, b/c I have always felt that it can be hard emotionally, to move from a place you have been for so long. But it sounds like you are ready to simplify life, and your HP is giving you an "easy out." Yay!
I hope the transition is an easy one!

Just take it easy, if you can. We've moved 8 times, and the hardest one was the second--down the street to a bigger apartment when the baby was 2 months old. Because it was so close, we did all the little stuff ourselves. And didn't even have that much little stuff, two years in.

Gosh another learning post and shares...Thanks sooooo much for the Experiences I am not alone (of course).
I have that very favorite direction prayer which I know as conversation with HP...yes I do "talk with HP" and I get the direction..."sell the house was just one" with the tell me what to do and the other part, "place me where you want me" takes a lot of "what to do next" questions out of our lives as long as I/we get the ego out of the way. We are partly done with the "other part, travel up to where all you all are" being the other part. Family YaY!!
I have got to say that being in the program really makes living life much much easier and happier doesn't it? So I gotta disconnect this puter and other stuff and load it into the van to move it the 50 yards and then get the van ready to turn in as the lease expires soon. Might get a motorcycle LOL!! ((((hugs))))

I love Canada, but there is something about "perpetually mild" temperatures, that make me insanely jealous when thinking of you fortunate folk who live in a place like Hawaii.....

(((((Brother))))) I was born and raised here. This is where HP gave me hope and blessings and today 75 percent humidity !!! Right now the breezy light winds have calmed that "air bath" down some and is making me smile. Mahalo Akua is my cheer...Thank You God while I also thank the breezes and winds. We are almost done moving and should be done by week end and as also I prepare for a flight to No.Calif. I have Al-Anon and AA family I want to hug and smile with. I feel soooo very grateful. ((((hugs)))))
