Go to the WSO for Alanon and they should have information about phone in meetings. I know there's a direct link somewhere I just am not sure where to point you in the right direction!!

I had a bit of time, and did some googling for the topic "Al-Anon Phone Meetings in Australia" and the first response back from Al-Anon Official was instead the offer of online meetings. They also suggest email, skype, etc. I agree with Serenity - perhaps by drilling down for that country, you might find local resources. (((Hugs)))

Thank you my friends I did try to Google but kept coming up blank. I'm a try follow up those leads you both have provided. I just don't feel like interactinv with a screen right now for a meeting. I want to hear other human voices! Hugs to you both, the support is so reassuring.

(((a4l))) - I had another thought and I am not sure how this works beyond my area. Once a year, we (my group) volunteer for time slots to monitor the local Al-Anon information line. We take calls, check voicemail and return calls as part of our service to the area/region. Since your needing a live person, it may be that if you call your local/regional office, a live body will call you back!

It's split here across all the different meetings, that's why we only do it once a year. Other groups also volunteer to be of service. If the web isn't getting you to what you need, you might dial up locally and see what happens....keep doing you, one day at a time! (((Hugs)))
