thank you ((((Betty))))) ((((Jerry))))) I'm doing step 3...Just trying to fight off the fear....shes not in pain...she has her toy....had a biscuit w/peanut butter on it.....now shes resting after treatment #2...I'll do it several times today and tomorrow...Vet if needed on Tuesday...Hope we can overcome..Work has been bad but my pet means more to me then I mean to me.....I won't let my girl suffer....if vet says its bad, then I'll send her home....I am hanging onto step 3 by my finger nails....

I am so very sorry your baby has an injury. I don't know how it is with dogs. With cats, their little bodies seem to isolate an abscess under the skin and then it drains once there's an opening. The vets give us medicine in a little aluminum tube with a long nose to put inside the abscess. The only one we had a problem with was on top of the head. It is hard to get a cat to let you hold him upside down.

I know you are doing everything you can and since she is eating and doesn't seem to be too upset about it, I hope it looks a lot worse than it is. Bless their little hearts--they won't come and tell you or show you, and something can sneak past.

((((Temple)))) Thanks for the hugs....I am 100% surrending ALL of this crap to HP...Can't handle anymore.....She seems to be happy, eating, now resting but had her toy, my instincts are telling me that we can wait till clinic on Tuesday....I'll do this sea salt compresses and then at end I pour peroxide on it....I don't think tapping is gonna hehp this....only STEP 3.....I'm done with all this bad karma....calling upon HP, whom, Yea, I am scared of, wary of, not sure I trust, but gonna DO IT ANYWAY

Thank you all who showed up to pray for my girl. She is way better this morning. I think one more day of moist warm compresses with the sea salt and pouring peroxide on it after the treatments, I think if I do it through today, she will be OK. She looks a lot better this morning the swelling has decreased a lot. All the prayer energy I got for her HP heard my call. Thank you HP.

I haven't been online for a couple of weeks but you've been in my thoughts more than you can know because, like you, I am praying for a much loved furry friend. At times when I was feeling desperate at the coming loss I thought about the love you have for your animals and how bravely you put their needs first.

And here you are - asking for prayers for your four legged friend. So yes, I will always care for your pets Rose and will always give to their care alongside you! It is great to hear that she is way better today and that despite the wound she hasn't suffered in herself. We worry for our lovely pets but my goodness they are worth it.

I've been travelling for two weeks and during that time my own poor hound has been put on palliative care. He is the bravest of dogs and my dearest friend here in Italy. He doesn't know how poorly he is and isn't suffering at the moment so I'm thankful to have made it back home so that we can share some precious time before I have to let him go. While it breaks my heart, I pray that when the time comes I can be alongside him to ease his journey.

Thank you for being such a great example of the love we have for our dogs Rose.

Rose, I did not see your request until today... and by this time, your undying devotion to her care has shown some positive results! She is one lucky furgirl to have you in her corner!
I will send out my "prayers" for her anyway! Hopefully, all that you have done has not only eased the discomfort, but will lessen the cost of getting it treated by the vet!

Your lovely hound touched my heart, the way you talk about him, is loving and so sweet...I'm so sorry that you will have to be saying goodbye to him at some point, the only things negative about dogs is they DONT LIVE LONG ENOUGH....I have my 3..2 are pups, but the older girl is now past 9..I'm hoping to hang on for a while more, but I am already bringing myself up to acceptance that she is a senior and one day we will say good bye...I'm hoping when her time DOES come, she goes "nite nite" here at home and passes gently in the night HERE at her HOME...I rescued all my dogs (3) as baby puppies...raised them up and I love them dearly....and they ARE my best friends....the 1 year old, the middle one in age, follows me like a little black, pittie/lab mis shadow....she has to be with me...they all do...its lovely how unconditionally they love us...........I will pray for you and your fur child that you have more good quality time with him.....Your post touched me in my heart........ sending mr. fur baby love and gentle hugs

my HP came through...yea, I did the work and effort, but HP gave me and her strength....I think I am figuring out SOMEwhat how HP works..I need HP..CAn't do life on my own..Too many negative energies out there to not have HP....I gave her another treatment this am and will throughout the day

I cleaned out my dressers drawers to keep stress off me...got FIVE bags of tops I don't want...NOW I can find stuff....pleased to see how much room I got....they say its positive to get rid of stuff I no longer wear....to get rid of clutter is a good thing and i will take these lovely tops I have grown tired of and take them to the doggie rescue thrift shop who needs donations to help the 4 legged children...

so I did good..inbetween treatments for my girl, I cleaned out my drawers and even the "play" stuff in my closet......its too cold to go today to donate this stuff....gonna stay home and take care of my girl....she needs one more GOOD day of hot/wet towels and sea salt treatment and after i take the towels off, i splash it with peroxide....She looks much better...tomorrow I'll go to the doggie thrift shop and donate these lovely tops....Help the other fur babies....

thanks ALL of you who cared about us to post a prayer...HP heard!!! HP responded!!!!! I think , after this episode, step 3 will be my daily partner.....

what is so weird in all this is that I FINALLY realize that HP didn "fail" me during my abuse, he/she just gave us all free will and CANT interfere in man's choices, no matter how wicked they may be...I will not ever know, perhaps what HP DID protect me from because it didn't happen...My abuse could have been far worse, weird to say, but it could have been worse..maybe it was HP who ran interference during his attempts to rape me..He never got to do that....Had to be HP..I was too small and too sick to have defended myself...

Also I think I have to do ALL I can to help myself, and THEN go to HP for outcome and for the "BIG stuff" that is over my head...do all I can THEN step back/turn over.....This episode with the aluminum can in my yard that pupppies tore up and COULD have been injured by AND this wound on my big girl...ALL had divine help in that we ALL overcame and my older girl is overcoming this wound.....

so yea, I learned HP does NOT interfer in man's good or evil choices, even when it is to an innocent child or animal, but HP WILL give us the strength, peace and courage AND even intervene on some stuff (guess when I go to happy place with my yellow lined note pad with my ???S and HP have our "sit down" I'll know why he/she allows so much evil and pain) BUT in the meantime "Something or someONE" was watching over me..

Like my slow work...difficulty in getting just one more small client...my Friday job?? I worked MORE at that place that I loved and made great money!!! Enough to pay off all my bills AND credit card where I charged my home/car insurance...

so yea, I do have an HP..we all do...its just and i guess that is where trust comes in...Trust that I'll be OK....You all will be OK...yea, life and other people, natureal disasters can bollix up our lives, be we CAN and DO have divine help IF we do the step 3 thingy....

so yea, what is the good in this poor beloved doggie getting wounded and REAL sick???? MY coming to terms with HP and step #3...MY realizing that HP is only capable of giving and doing GOOD to us, nothing but GOOD...but there are negative energies in this world we have to deal with and we are all here due to some kind of negative energy in the form of addiction or abuse or something.....I notice for me , ALL my pain is due to MAN...Nobody but MAN and his wicked (in case of sire) and sick choices (my Ex alcoholics) that impacted me....but WHO is here, bringing us all together to heal and share and care and give/receive love and validation??? our HP of our understanding....

I will never completely understand HP...I am wary...Not sure I trust....BUT.....I AM WILLING....and Yesterday??? I DID IT AFRAID (trust) and ya know what????? through this ordeal, I did not feel overwhelmed by fear....yea, overwhelmed by this "one thing after another" but I was not crazed with fear when I used to be like that....THIS time I "felt something" "something good" was around us , helping us.....

HP will always be a mystery to me in my finite mind, it is probably the big puzzle for many of us, but I am and I said that last night in my prayers (Yea, I PRAYED) that I was wary, not sure I could ever trust, but I am gona DO IT AFRAID...I was willing....That was enough to set in motion the positive energy I needed......

anyway, I took away this lesson in this...STOP fighting life...CALL upon my Christ within....MAKE myself take my hands off AFTER I do all I can and KEEP my hands off.....Last night I managed to do that.....even tho the burden I was casting had my claw marks on it as I let it go......

PROGRESS!!! lil mrs. fat girl is making progress...moist, hot towells seasoned with salt, then finish with peroxide, then a nice treat!!!

She doesn't smell so sick, either...Still need aggressive treatment but I think she is gonna be ok....I do buy that mass prayer works...all the positive/love energy reaches the source of all things good...This drove me to step 3 for sure....

Got some antibiotics from my GF up the street...I know how to dose, and gave her her first pill......HP came to the rescue in the form of a nice little lady/friend...I asked her "how much do you want???" she said "take them" so I told her I would give her a nice haircut (did her b4 and she loved it) so yea, I'm feeling a LOT less stress....my treatment is gaining ground, but this will really give it a boost......My pets mean everything to me....

So wonderful to hear that your lab is doing better. I am also glad to hear that your HP put those antibiotics in your path (b/c she probably needs some)!

Lil fat girl is COMPLETELY healed....AND I only needed 1/2 the pills..so I put the remainder in a safe place

shes running and playing and loves to play tug of war with me and her toy....how many toys have we "torn up" because both of us are so strong and we hate to let go, LOL....No!!! I don't even know step 3 when it comes to trying to win her at tug of war

Had to punish missus puppy , caught her chewing a whole in my sheet rock on wall between parlor and kitchen....I got a light towel and spanked her caught in the act...then shortened her leash so she can't get to that area...I got some sheet rock mud and spackle and a tool and filled in the hole...will paint over it soon......they are like children,...she has ALL these toys, bones, stuff toys and she chews my SHEETROCK.....I can't chastise if they are not caught in the act...dogs have short memories and if you see the "after ward" you gotta just try and block them from doing it again because a light spank , they won't even know why they got a towel swiped across their rear end....

thanks for all your prayers and concerns....my pets are my children....with the weather getting better, i am out playing frisbee and ball with them....wear them out real good so they don't get into mischief (puppies).....

Hello Rose, I'm loving the image of your tug of war playtime! I've just been reading about wolves (because we have a pack that has moved in as neighbours here!) and my book says that the parents have been seen bring their pups play things such as old tyres or discarded blankets to tear up!

I'm sending lots of good energy to your lovely dog! Please be careful with the peroxide though. In humans it causes tissue damage, and slows healing, contrary to popular knowledge. I assume its the same with dogs. I recently learned the slogan 'dont try to force solutions' and that might apply here. Sometimes in our rush to solve we can cause more problems. In any case, good luck to the little guy!! :)

Hey healing hands. I was really modest with the peroxide because I know it can burn but it worked great on her. Most of it was the sea salt hot compresses and of course the antibiotics that my friend so generously gave to me. But yeah peroxide can burn but I was real careful with it. She showed no signs of burning
