I went into work today and told everyone that I was still sore from my back and that I would work as long as it was still comfortable adn then I'm leaving when I get tired and sore.....so the folks may or may NOT get their W2's...
I was stiff and a bit sore after 4 hrs.,doing my regular work, so I went in and told everyone---W2's next week...I'm sore...I'm going home.....NOONE was unhappy with me...They thanked me for showing up.....TEN years of good service and I think I called in sick 2 times in 10 years....

hey Milkwood...good to see ya....yummmm homemade bread....sounds delish....and I love your plan with your dog....I live in the suburbs, but there are walking and biking trails near by where the getting out in nature is lovely....you can go forever on your bike and see lots of neat stuff...when weather is good, I go on the trails...so yea, living in the "burbs" is not m cuppa tea, but at least we have nature trails and places to ride our bicycles/walkng and "get away" from "peopleing".......enjoy your walk

Big progress for me too! Saw a gastroenterologist yesterday and scheduled my first colonoscopy which I have put off for years. Lyne

Nice example of taking care of yourself ((Rose))) Glad you were able to to go to work for a little while. Happy you're beginning to feel somewhat better.
I made a nice healthy breakfast this morning and ate at the table and had conversation
I made reading my CAL a priority this morning and it changed my attitude for the better and it stayed with me through the day today.
Had a few laughs! While out in a store, began reading humorous coffee cups. One that I thought was especially funny had a picture of three old women in bathing suits. It read, "We need to be careful, the lifeguards aren't as quick to save us at this age." I LOL in the store!
Try to stay out of worry, stay present. It was a good day. Thanks ((everyone))) for sharing. TT

Hey Lyne, good for you..I had one and its nothing...and NOW they have this "kit" you can test yourself with and its like 99% accurate and no going to hospital, its all done at home...so when i am "due" again, I'll do that
Hey PnP...yep, I felt pretty good doing that AND they were great about it
and Tired , I got a laugh at your story about those old gals in bathing suits...So glad you had a positive and happy day

Back is healing because yours truly has set limits on what i'll do (re: chores, etc) and what can wait
I know I have to change the way I lift and bend...use my LEGS...and keep the back straight...I was bending at the waist trying to move something during chores and I felt it seize up....back on st. johns wort as of today and stretching...Before I start my day and after doing any work.....I am gonna reeeeely be mindful of my body because these things are just ruining my life...there is nothing worse then chronic back pain....so BIG change, I see me doing...gonna minimize these things as best as I can...Because i've had so many episodes of these things...been having them for 26 years now, so yea, probably I've got scar tissue and muscles /ligaments are compromised, but I am gonna do all I can do to either prevent or at the very least minimize the devastating pain I'm in when down wtih this.....
BIG PROGRESS!!!!
