My HP was at it again so I have to acknowledge the efforts again and again. At the start of and thru the end of the weekend my spirit made note that I should do another personal "change me" inventory and that made me glad and excited to decide what I needed to change and how I would do it. This one was easy as my Higher Power stepped in and let me know He would be here abiding with me as the step started and progressed.
I have some of the inventory done and so will continue deeply.
I remembered that my HP will show up for me in many ways and times so I am expectant of that; How would HP appear and sound and what would HP say definitely and so I went to my "Open Minded" condition and watched and listened and then Saturday evening relaxed and called it quits with a prayer for humility..."being teachable". Sunday morning I woke with instruction from program experiences and nodded with assurance that my HP will arrive at whatever time and in whatever way, shape and form using the most appropriate language for the work. HP has done that with and for me so often in the past with it's presence directly appropriate to my task. I was aware of the experiences so I felt assured as I drove to the meeting listening to how it can and would and has happened and when I got to the meeting I listened to the prayer and reading process and had to smile and chuckle at what I was hearing and being assured of.
The morning meditation reading was so almost like I had been reminded of on my drive that I had to nod and smile more. More over the reader of the meditation was reading it with his eyes fixed upon me and the old question re-arose from with in...I was reminded of my former now deceased sponsor, Don.T. who use to challenge me with his question of "Now What"? The answer is simply simple...continue with the inventory and keep on keeping on.
I have to change parts of my thinking, feelings, intentions and actions...only(?). I am grateful that I am not in the process of changing what I can, must and will alone. I have the entire recovery family which again reveals the method my Higher Power comes to and abides with me. I am ready and willing....and able.
Keep coming back family you all are my Higher Power in action and I am sooooo grateful. (((((hugs)))))

((((Jerry)))) Thank you for sharing this Journey with us here. I sometimes find myself Stuck or Lazy! At Moving forward, it is so easy for me at times to just let things Roll, without doing the work it takes to change Me. ..
I Appreciate your Honesty but more so How you break down the way you go about your change in thinkin, Sometimes I struggle with the process of being "Completely" comfy relying only on HP, But you My Dear friend Give me Hope that I will get there ;)
I have no doubt you will Conquer anything HP lays in front of you and within ;)

Hey Brother - lovely share.....we are 'hibernating' as we had blizzards yesterday and it dumped 6-10 inches of snow in the area. Needless to say, being closed in with my 2 guys for 48 hours + has been a test of tolerance, patience, etc...
I am grateful that HP nudges us when we need it, to do the next right thing - be it a prayer, an inventory, a meeting, a discussion, etc. I seriously do not know where I would be or what I would be without it! I am hopeful that more streets are cleared by tomorrow and I can go out and about yet know if not, I will be OK as I am never alone.
