To ALL the travelers who post the daily readings, I just want to say "thank you" for your service and I hope to contribute here and there, and I am gonna make sure I post on EVERYONE of them as I have done of late because this sorta "gently forces" me to stay program oriented...I've been going through so many changes this past year and really even longer than that...my head would spin off me if I didn't stay aligned with my program

This miracle really works if I work it ..I handle life much better...I seem to be more aligned with the steps, slogans, et al, so thanks fellow travelers, whether we are friends or not friends, it doesn't matter, we all have the same goals:  Recovery and living better and being better....

I've made a LOT of goof ups here on this page..This is maybe my third "name" here??? yea, I messed up a few times but that was yesterday/in the past..Like our Betty said on my post---we don't have to carry the past into our present, we can move forward and like our Bo said, we can "start over" our day as much as we need to and that is what I am doing..

To the ones I've gone "wrong" with, I had no ill intent..I hope my screwup(s) are forgiven as I truly would never mean to harm anyone...I am a work in progress...The only amend(s) I know to make is to keep working on me and recycling all the good that I learn by sharing it with the new ones coming in...

And I would say thanks mamalioness for being mamalioness!!! Inside of the rooms we see and hear a lot- it is a great privilege... and, in the end it is humbling and healing. As I read Betty's kind words in your last post I realise where we all have bin... in one way or another- and the bond we do achieve when we begin to trust others and learn to love ourselves.

I was alway so overawed by North American speakers I heard over here- so cool and erudite. Always felt that we were less than. [An old trait!]

I made up this saying ah could use one day-  "I came from the paralysis of analysis- to an attitood of gratitood... "  ...

But at home- I found Americans to be just like everyone else- they just spoke a little different.  ...

Any form of authority I held at arm's length. I was 'wise to the world'. Once bitten, twice shy.

But then- ah found forms of authority that ah  could trust- the was worthy of trust...

at some stage we put aside the cliches and the dogmas. We begin to talk turkey... slowly but surely... and our anxiety subsides, little by little...

I don't follow each and every thread in this group. They are all deeply personal. I do not leap up and greet each and every newcomer- but ah do like to see that it is done! 

I like to pitch in when I am needed.

Over time I get to cross paths with the many people who come along here... I find this to be fruitful and enjoyable.
