Hi Bo I posted the update regarding the Businesss meeting below in the Business section of the Board--Here it is
The MIP business meeting was held on Sunday, April 22 in the Al-Anon Chat room. We discussed the bills that are due to the two vendors that service the boards. They are : Sparklit with the monthly bill of 17. .98 a month and Go Daddy which we owe $187.05. This bill is due May 16 Our treasurer Kenny Fernanjazz will establish his PayPal account as a temporary account to accept contributions for the MIP Go Daddy Bill. We can have community fund drive on the board to pay Sparklit as we did last year .
Since Go Daddy bill is due on May 16 we will be asking members to donate to the PayPal account that will y be established shortly Please note
No contribution is too small even 5.00 is a great help

Thank you...I apologize, I wasn't aware of the business section of the board/site. Is there anywhere here on the board where I can review/read the history, previous funding, etc.? Thank you again.

Hi Bo I will check the the Board administrator for additional information.
A little history about the Board is that it was founded by John F. who passed away last year. At that time ,John maintained the books and would report to the membership occasionally. After his passing, a committee was formed to keep the Board running and it was then that we assigned a treasurer and other supportive persons to insure the Boards continuance. We then obtained sufficient funds (through a funding drive) to pay the bills for about a year and now we are again looking for funding . That is a brief overview someone else may be ale to fill in the blanks
PS
Here is link to he Business Board i do believe most of the history is posted there
Hey Betty - should we reach out to Kenny for the Paypal email address or does he intend to post it? If he needs help setting up a temporary email/paypal account to protect his privacy, I have a few ideas (have done this for local fund-raising)....keep us posted and thank you and all others for the service to our board!!
