it CAN be done..Sobriety and good thinking CAN be achieved..With work, dedication, healthy self love and fair discipline it CAN be done..
My beloved girl is SIX YEARS SOBER as of yesterday, well its Monday, now, LOL, so SATURDAY marked the sixth year of being sober..We had a wonderful talk today!!! program reinforcement between us and just loving great chat..laughter..Remembering dear Janie, we talked about everything..I am gonna bake her some of my wicked granola and send it to her probably end of week...
My other girl, the younger one is working her program and doing great with her thinking..Work is kinda tough for SIL but she is working her program, step 3 and living one day at a time...Poor girl has a broken molar root and has to have the tooth pulled..It was so swollen and infected she was swallowing antibiotics to get it down so dentist can pull in the next few days....
Life CAN be good..yea, its been a terrible year in lots of respects..Work is slow, income is low, my sister died!! a beloved dog died, oh yea, but when I think of my girl being sober now for six years, that just in itself erases all the negative stuff....I am OK today and today is all I got..
Thank you HP in universe for keeping my kids safe, healthy and mentally/emotionally sober.....I told her that we just had to celebrate her big 6 with a bag, BIG bag of my wicked, good granola, packed with all her favorite treats...
Thanksgiving is coming up, daughter is going to visit her dad and I told her to hug him for me and she said she would..Not sure what I will be doing, I don' t HAVE to "do" anything, I can work out on my body crunch machine, working all my muscles, do my back therapy stretches and exercise and maybe..Just maybe I'll just hang out with me and my fur kids and watch tv and RELAX!!!!!! Hope all of you, no matter where you go, whom you see, may it all be soaked in LOVE

Congrats to both your girls. That's wonderful news. It works when you work it! My SO celebrated six years earlier this month and didn't even remember when the day came but I did. Took him out for dinner just because. You make your "wicked" granola sound scrumptous. Stop lol! Thanks for sharing good news. Hope you have a serenity filled Thanksgiving day. oh its been a long grinding road, but sooo worth it....I love my girls so much and we talk program, encourage each other, etc...its great!!! One day at a time we work our "stuff", LOL

haaaay TT, good to see ya girlfriend!!!!! I am so proud of my girls......this is so funny....for their b-days...Sep 25 and Oct 11, I make them granola....BIG Baggies, weighed a ton, they did, I am thinking for sure this will last em a week or so....well the older one sends me a selfie, shes got this "you know what" eating grin on her face and an empty baggy....that girl ate the WHOLE thing in one day...I asked the other one, whose b-day is the Sept. one, "well, how long did YOUR treat last??? hehehehehe" and she just kinda giggles and said "not long, mama" Oh well, at least they are stuffing themselves on MY healthy stuff, LOL.....
and I hope YOU have a good T/Giving...I'm gonna dine with my BMF across the street, most likely., working the day b4 and day after so its just another day, but its good..its all good...and I am grateful to be here , too, and grateful that you are here as well....the Ex had a bypass done on his heart but hes doing ok and naaaw, he will always be my pal...I was soo young when my 1st girl was born and he was a good dad.......Adopted the 2nd one later when she was little and I was old enough to, LOL I was a minor when the first one was born, the only mom who was in HS but I managed...It wasn't easy, but she was worth it......didn't marry the Ex but stayed friends with him....and when I adopted my 2nd angel, he was good with her...Treated her the same....and as far as I am concerned, she is just as much my heart as my bio one is....I love them both the same..I miss them terribly...One is in CA, the other in MD..........Anyway, nice of you to stop in and say "hey" to me.....

My girl in MD wants me closer to her...My girl in CA wants me out there....."HP, cut me in two so i can be with BOTH" well, I know I can't do that, so I am gonna get with my handyman who is really great on what he charges, get some updating done on this kitchen, make the house more attractive for sale THEN wait and see where my inner HP is guiding me to do....the paths will open for the divine right thing for me.....I just hate this "waiting" and "not knowing where I am supposed to be" I just hate living in the city or "suburbs" as they call it.....I know I want out of here, but I also know I need to work...don't want to start over , so maybe just move further out in the country so i can get to work??? decisions decisions...I miss my family...I'll just clean out stuff I am not wanting to take with me, as I did some more today, and also fix up the place here and there and maybe the paths will be made clear ....Just rambling here....my bestie across the street will be gone by March, he says...I'll really be alone then..I am happy for him, but sad for me as NADA is being put in my path as to where I need to be as I am clearly not happy in the city, in this neighborhood...I want to be where there is less people and more quiet, less lines, less of what the city has.....thanks for letting me get this off my chest....
