Got back from my city of birth after 13 years away from the place and 9 years out of the country. It was an extraordinary trip. Net result is more work ahead but with potential to leave a legacy for the future generations. So I'm not quite yet in a space where I can relax and will be needing my program as much as ever, particularly the faith part. It's been a life changing journey, with this last completed leg a real dawn. I like dawn, both literally and metaphorically. Powerful, fresh, loaded with potential yet needing a whole balance of things to realise that potential including acceptance of life on life's term. Much work ahead but I'm in love with the vision and for now that inspires me. I could never have gotten here without alanon and this board. I know now that I will not keep moving forward in my good orderly direction, if I let the blueprint for that direction fall by the wayside. That blueprint is the twelve steps and all the tools that come with it. A beautiful place to be honestly. I feel very fortunate to be at a stage where everything is weaving in together, life experiences, wisdom, intelligence, awareness, practical application. I'm enjoying this background music from which to dance to and wanted to share it. Thank you all for being here, and keep on keeping on.
