Well last night I did get hurt and today I am using my tools and I KNOW I will make a strong comeback . The valuable Alanon lesson comes from learning to focus on myself. Because when the Foo and the spouse and other people hurt and let me down, I have myself, I have HP, I have my tools (getting a good workout this morning, especially the Serenity Prayer), I have my Alanon family, and I have my best friends, including my dogs! I know why dogs are called "man's best friend," because they are. Even my little one with cancer. I'm viewing today as my recovery and healing day. And I know I can and will. ODAT. Amen, Lyne

((Lyne)) I have found that "Acceptance" is the key to maintaining my sanity. Keep the focus on yourself, viewing your assets and gratitude lists and this too will pass.

Sending you the best possible positive thoughts for your healing day!!! I know my FOO can be draining and I always find gratitude when life returns to normal! (((Hugs)))

I always hear that phrase .. dog spelled backwards is god .. I need to keep working those tools too which I am sort of reflecting a little deeper on this morning .. If we use them more often we'll find ourselves with more choices than without them .. serenity wishes for reasonably happy 4th & hugs from here too ..
