hello everyone been going to marvellous weekly al anon meetings for two years got a lovely sponsor and starting to work step one . iam fully committed to al anon it saved my sanity I had no idea my husband was an alcoholic weve been together 17 years he never drank in front of me . he lost his health job and driving licence I was in shock the first two years of al anon it is only now I feel strong enough to work the steps . I want to thank al anon for all the great litature available on amazon audible which I listen to every night and this has cured my panic attacks . I feel blessed to have al anon in my life and with my higher power will continue to grow in knowledge x blessings to you all x

When i started coming to Alanon I had very little to be grateful for. I was angry, and sad.
I think it is a really good sign to be expressing gratitude. Just to see a sunny face at a meeting is a blessing in itself!!!

Welcome ((morganalfie)), I too feel grateful for Al-Anon. Today I'm filled with peace and serenity and can feel HP's loving energy all around me. Thank you for sharing and reminding me to always have gratitude :)

Welcome morganalfie, I am pleased that you have found alanon and that you keep coming back. It is evident that the tools such as the literature, the meetings, HP and the fellowship are helping. Keep coming back here as well--- Recovery is a process. .
