Has Anyone Been Through a True Dark Night of Soul in Recovery?

Hi Everyone, I have been in recovery for over 10 years. In the past 7 months I have gone through a true "dark night of the Soul" and I am working with a jungian who says that it sometimes happens on the Spiritual path. There is a lot about it on You Tube but I would really like to connect with others who have gone through IT and come out on the other side, someone with some 12 step experience. I am doing tons of things such as program, EFT, reiki, prayer, meditation, etc. but it is still very intense. I have a 13 year old son and I want so much to heal or get to the 'other side" and people say there is LIGHT there. In a way it is like the 11th step each moment. if you have been in it its snot "depression" it is a Spiritual depression that leads to Light. You may be lost, dark, anxious depressed etc even after tons of recovery. Kindly LMK if you have experienced this and would like to connect via email or private message. if you have i will leave my email address. I DO think that there should be a community going through this. I was IN a group for this but they did NOT allow any emotion and I left the group!! It was weird. There is NOTHIN else online to support people going through S SPIRITUAL TRANSITION. Again, this is not the same as early recovery. it usually happens later. Hello Charlotte, I did experience this Dark Night of which you speak, while caring for my 41 year old dying son. I could not pray or even talk to HP but felt that I was understood by him and that even Mother Theresa experienced such painful nights so that I would survive and come through and I did. Program, meetings steps and slogans helped

Charlotte I have been there which brought me to the lessons on complete abandonment of my spirit to HP. Not surrender...abandonment like setting an infant on the doorstep of HP and turning and walking away with complete faith that how it turned out would be much better than any expectation I could have. That is what happened. Today I love the light. Keep coming back (((((hugs)))))
