I have posted before in regards to attending my 1st meeting...now i attempted to go last night but it was cancelled. The next one by me is this Sunday. I already knew in my head that my AH would have a fit cause Sundays we have a routine of church then laundry and home. Well the time i would need to attend a meeting would mean no laundry until later. I told him and he was upset cause it is changing our routine. I said well then it will change our routine and i am going to a meeting and will do laundry myself when i get home. Why doesn't he understand that things have already changed and this needs to be done on our own? He has stopped drinking since our incident last tuesday but that isn't going to solve or heal the REAL situation.

Hugs,
I hope you went to your meeting regardless of your AH's attitude.
Alanon is about you and for you. I am sorry this is so difficult. I actually attended open AA meetings for a number of years and my now XAH did not know I was going. It was just about me and I am grateful I went it has helped me heal along with my weekly Alanon meetings.
I truly hope you went and you got what you needed out of the meeting it always left me feeling better as I healed.
Hugs S :)

Why doesn't he understand? because he is out of control of it and to anyone affected by this disease that is frightening. He'll be okay and it's not your concern. He can handle it. (((hugs)))
