Magic words I have said before, officially we are done and I am grateful! Court papers are actually filed and money is now coming directly out of his check.
Now comes the fun part I have a few decisions to make and try to decide what is best for the kids and I.
Still seeing my guy, still having a good time with that, my children adore this man and I am beyond grateful. He is very good with them and to them. Nothing over the top however he engages with them as a healthy person should and they are starting to see that their dad's inability to engage has nothing to do with them and everything to do with their dad.
There have been some incredibly ironic things that have happened lately.
Right now the exciting news is that my daughter has been accepted to a university 30 min down the road which is perfect. She has to interview this April for the program she wants into I don't anticipate that she will be derailed by anything, she's looking at bio chem major with a criminal justice background. She's got her sights on working with the state police with a forensic science certificate.
She's under high stress at the moment however she is doing very well. There have been issues with bullying in school .. apparently since I have been in school teenagers have gotten meaner and smarter so it's like being force fed poop on a spoon and told it's really sugar .. I do not like it for her. It kills me because she's a great kid with a huge heart. 4 months though .. just 4 more months. She's done very well for herself and is a great kiddo. Another reason why I am so blessed with my guy because he validates both of the kids and is there for them in ways that boggle my mind.
I have been dealing with a sty in my eye and it's been frustrating. I got glasses to find out that apparently I need bifocals .. LOL. I feel officially old .. and yet not really. The sty really messed with me badly.
Anyway, work is good, life is pretty good, and things are moving in the direction they need to be. I'm sure there will be more court my XAH has decided to ignore my notifications for payment on medical bills he's going to be in for a large shock.

Hey girl - good to see you and the update sounds good.....so, so sorry for your girl - I agree that kids (and some adults) today are just mean....Keep doing you - it's working well!
