So my AS texted me last night. I really haven't heard much from him. It was a very cordial exchange. He told me he had a job interview today. Supposedly he and his girlfriend have been out and about looking for jobs. Good for them. I was able to tell him good luck and that I am confident that he will be able to figure things out. Told him I loved and missed him. He wrote back, Love you too, Thanks mom. I put it in his hula hoop!
Love him to pieces! Miss him like crazy! He has to figure it out.
Thanks for the forum, I don't feel so alone anymore. To hear that others understand and support me is a saving grace.

(((Beth))) - good on you and good on him! I fully 'hear you' - love them, miss them but they need their own journey!!! What really helped me was to focus on what's better today - just today. I tried to not project good or bad, and just be in the present.

Sounds like you are doing well TM. Thats half the battle knowing that your are not alone and there is support from those who have been there, done that. Most of our children are smarter than we think, they can get through this, and we have to remind them that they have choices, and if they fall, they can pick themselves up again and give it another try.
