I just want to wish you peace and serenity. The majority of this year was awful between me and my qualifier AH but I truly credit this program with helping me obtain peace and regain my sense of self. Definitely a work in progress for sure but it ended mostly better than it began and for that I am grateful. Last year the holidays were a mess of fighting and AH drinking but this year he's cut back a lot though still not stopped completely. Tonight I asked him not to drink and still
did but didn't get drunk but it upset me for a minute and then I remembered to be present with my kids and the. Just go to
bed and remove myself without a fight. I feel at peace and am so thankful for that because last year I definitely would be an anxiety filled mess.
Thankful for this board and this program. Wishing us peace and progress in 2017!

Great share mb2016 and great program work. Learning through recovery that I always had choices to walk away from insanity/chaos was a great gift. I can and do better today at ignoring crazy people and chaotic situations. Happy, Healthy, Sane and Serene new Year to you too! (((Hugs)))
