Hope everyone had a lovely day. My day was gifted to me by my hp with a stark reminder of the power of this disease. Before 12pm in my home there were tears and tantrums. What did I do? Did what I planned and made the soup. Lol. The power of alanon won though. Family reacted but here's the best bit calm was restored quickly with very few harsh words. I saw the disease in all its glory and then I seen recovery and it was beautiful and I know it was a gift.x

Great, great share el-cee! I am glad we are on the other side of it and also experienced the presence of the disease as well as the presence of recovery. I did not go to the family celebration as I was coughing like no other and just felt so badly. I've got a heckova cold and it seems to peak and valley every other day. Today is a good day and hopefully I'm on the back/healing side...
I gifted myself with rest/nap/peace/quiet. While I missed seeing everyone, I was in no shape to be around others. Both of my sons, my son's baby-momma, and one g-baby are also sick so we're all on the road to recovery...
I'm looking forward to the new day, the new week and the new year!! (((Hugs)))
