I saw this quote this morning and it best represents what recovery has gifted me....wanted to share with my MIP family here!
A beautiful day begins with a beautiful mindset. Every day you wake up, think about what a privilege it is to simply be alive and healthy. Stop focusing on the negatives and everything that could go wrong and start thinking about what could go right. Better yet, think of everything that already is right. Be thankful for nights that turned into mornings, friends who turned into family and past dreams and goals that turned into realities. Use this mindset of positivity to fuel an even brighter today and tomorrow.

Since making a decision to practice this program on a daily basis, I find that I do begin my day in that fashion: Gratitude lists, asset lists, serenity prayer 3rd tep prayer all work to keep the focus on the positive. Great reminder.

Thanks all - really love it as well.....I agree that how we start our day is telling for how our day will go. The program gave me the simple thought that we can always start our day over at any time we want/need to!!!
