hello everyone,I'm frustrated as can be at the moment,my neighbors next door,which have been good neignores up until today when I met my neighbor at my mailbox and he tells me his water had been turned off due to non payment that they had a rough month,so he tells me they hooked my water hose to their water heater to keep it from burning out and so they would have water and electric,also went on to say that they would pay for the difference in my water bill,this is why he left the sander at my door to pay me I guess something like that but bootlegging water off of me is wrong,so I came inside all frustrated more by the min. Thinking about it knowing my xbf is good at things like that,and that he hates me makes it more frustrating,I call my water dept,they call back the manager calls me and tells me he will have to stop it a sap for it can be a hazardess to both us and them,dangerous .so my name being kept anonymous he said he would come pull their meter in the morning,and look at it,I don't want no drama from xbf,and he is doing his best to put more stress on me.he ran up on me with his bike earlier today while I was at my mailbox,to scare the daylight savings out of me,anything to shake me up,I'm must be turning into a complainer and that I don't want to be,just had to get this out also.im decided not to use the sander.i feel like all this has just caused a lot of conflict between us ,especially when they find out their meter has been pulled in the morning when they get up.i hate to be the tell tale,snitch ,don't help my neighbor out by allowing them to hook my hose up to their water heater.

I think that it is a good idea that the water company representative come and take care of this for you. What the neighbor is doing - tapping into your water line - sounds criminal to me.
You are not a complainer, you are being STRONG and setting boundaries. Do not apologize for this. Take the damn sander back and don't look back. It's not worth it. Some people you just have to walk away from otherwise they will use you and take advantage of you. YOU ARE MUCH BETTER THAN THIS!!
(I'm still learning the hard way, but getting better at this.)

How dare somebody "borrow" water from you without talking to you first. That is like borrowing your car without talking to you. In other words, stealing. You didn't ask for a sander (I doubt that you really have a use for a sander?) I think you did a good thing, having the water company out and staying anonymous. They will probably have them prosecuted.

Thank you tucker and Kenny for your insight,and yes the sander is going back tomorrow,I still can't understand all that,except that they have my x/abf staying over there that hates me for no real reason other than its over with us and I'm been trying to move on with my life despite abf living or staying right over my fence line,it's crazy,my neighbors I know would have never done this ,my abf ,yes indeed he would have n a min.i told the water dept about him,they asked for his name and I gave it,this is what I call not normal behavior ,and it is a crime they may prosecute,I dunno,it's out of my hands,just can't believe my nigh or tells me at my mailbox like its nothing like its just normal cause we are neighbors and they have my bf staying there a lot of times.its sad to cause I really liked my neighbors and I hope after tomorrow that they don't hate me for calling it in,I'm sure they will figure it out.that I called.i just don't want any conflict or drama from either party,neighbors or abf,I feel it coming.i feel like im a target to others cause I'm single living alone,I know it got to get better.im to kind and nice I've been told so ppl take advantage of me somehow.....
