Today's reading is about taking the time to cherish those small moments of our lives that mean so much. The program and my faith in my Hp help me to stop and soak in the wonder of a sunrise or sunset. When I hear my kids laughing together, or have just had a connection in conversation with a friend.
This week my family and I suffered the loss of my mom, the greatest. Honestly I thought about skipping the reading/response today but when I saw the topic it resonated with me. Please say prayers for my mom and my family if you are so inclined and I hope all of us today has a moment of wonder that makes us stop for a moment. I know there are gifts all around us- and I'm working on not taking them for granted.

Dear Mary I am so sorry to read of the loss of our very special Mom. I certainly appreciate your taking the time to post your thoughts on this important topic.
I will be eternally grateful to this program for giving me the ability to see, feel and appreciate the wonders of this world that surround us every day . The giggles of children, the sunset, a little animal or bird, a flower and a tree. I never actually felt the joy in these until program and today as I walk about my gratitude for the beauty of this world sometimes is over whelming.
Thank you for your service at this difficult time Prayers and positive thoughts going out to you and your family.

(((Mary))) - I too send you prayers and thoughts for the loss of your mother. May you and your family grieve and heal as you celebrate her life and her legacy. I thank you for your service and for the daily.
I NEVER lived in the moment before recovery. My brain was always stuck in the past or the future. Because of my faulty thinking, I missed so many 'now' blessings and work just for today to no longer miss these mini events. I too can find pure joy in the sunrise or sunset and the laughter of my g-children warms my heart. I also get a boost of joy each my sweet dog and I prepare for our daily walk. Without fail and no matter her age, she gets so excited when she sees my socks and visor! She's been a great teacher for me of how living in the moment can truly be a gift of grace and joy like no other.
I too am so grateful for the many gifts of this program and for all the ESH. When I remain open and humble, I learn something each and every day that helps make me a better version of me.
Know that you and all are in my thoughts and prayers!

My sincere sympathy on the loss of your mom. There is beauty all around us created by our higher power and this program has allowed me to see it all again even in the darkest of times .
Good morning Everyone-

The program and my faith in my Hp help me to stop and soak in the wonder of a sunrise or sunset. When I hear my kids laughing together, or have just had a connection in conversation with a friend.
