So sorry your A relapsed. Do you attend face-to-face meetings? You will find a lot of support here.

Hi and welcome Coloradogold, Alcoholism is a chronic disease over which we are powerless.
Please search out alanon face to face meetings in your community and attend. It is here you will break the isolation caused by the disease and learn new constructive tools to live by. Keep coming back here as well. You are not alone.
The alanon hotline number is found in the white pages . Good luck

Hello, Colorado, welcome.
When I first came to AlAnon, I was "done", too: physically, mentally, emotionally exhausted from trying to address the drinking in a loved one using all of the tools I knew.
I reached out to AlAnon meetings and books, and quickly found understanding and relief. One of the important things I learned is that I didn't have to handle all of the things going on around me, I just needed to handle me, the only thing that I could control.
AlAnon proved to be an invaluable help when nothing else I had tried worked. I hope you are able to check it out, I think it will be very helpful. Glad to have you here

Colorado - Hello and welcome to MIP. So glad you found us and glad that you shared and joined us. I can also relate to your share - I was also 'done' and feeling defeated, helpless and hopeless. In Al-Anon, I found support, suggestions and tools to get through living with the disease, the diseased, the relapses and the emotional chaos brought about.
Please join us and know there is hope and help. Finding local meetings was a blessing for me as well as this place, a sponsor and literature.
