HI all, well I cannot get into the chat room so that is how come I am not there anyomre. Seems to be too much "life" going on for me. My gma is almost 106. She had an infection that has taken her down some. Sometimes we think she is going then the next thing ya know she is wanting to go to the dining room. She is such a beautiful person and loved by so many. She is in a rehab place. Lots of us\ are taking care of her. I have to drive a long ways there and back, them there is my farm waiting for me. My father is dieing too. Then after a very long time of not talking to the A, I decided to call him. He sounded awful. Well he got yet another DWI, blew a .31. .4 is about dead. I think this is number 5. I went over there before I went to see gma. omg how horrible the disease is. HE was on his knees gagging, saying he is detoxing and has to get straight and sober to get ready for this. smoking one cig after another. He is shaking, I told him to get into his bed that has the electric blanket on it. He says that is not all. He also got a driving while suspended a week before. If he does not go to prison it will be a miracle. I don't know if he will survive in there. But he sure won't out here. His hep C is horrible, liver is a mess. We all know it comes to this kinda stuff, but it does not make it easier. As soon as I saw him i told him how sorry I am. Sorry he has such a horrible disease. He told me to tell gma hi and he loves her. I did and it meant a lot to her. She said you guys belong together. i know, but not much I can do about it. It is so weird and horrible to watch someone you have known almost all your life, go thru this. We hugged and I looked at him right into his sad eyes. I pray he does not take his life. Love,debilyn

There is so much sorrow in life for you right now, I'm sorry to hear what you're dealing with right now. Where I work there are people dying all the time. I had a hard time with that at first, seeing the families so sad. But lately there have been a few families that have shown me that it can be differnt. They rally around the dying loved one. The play the music he or she loved in life along with all the things they loved. From family members to they're favorite foods Not because the dying are able to eat that food but because it brings back the memories of the loved they all shared. I hope that makes sense. And please don't think I'm making light of your situation. It still hurts but makes you feel a little better knowing they left this earth knowing how much they are loved and how much you meant to them. Take comfort in knowing we are all here for you and praying our little hearts out for you. Whitie
