I know this is an Al-Anon message board and I assume it's like f2f meetings and we should only discuss alanon literature. But, I feel I must share considering you are ready to give up on marriage. I found a wonderful website recently and several great books through it also. www.divorcebusting.com has been a great help to me on this subject. I took my vows very seriously but was at my wits end. The information gives you ideas of how to save your marriage by doing something different. That, combined with my 16 months of Al-Anon seems to be a no fail combination. Just my opinion. Please, take the time to check it out before you walk away. Marriage is a sacred thing worth working on...and especially if children are involved.

I've learned that we can use non conference CAL as part of your own ESH. I had something I wanted to share at a meeting I was chairing (first chair and being the perfectionis I am wanted to do to it right, LOL) and asked my question of the WSO the answer I received was the following: "In the ‘Policy Digest’ section of the 2004-2006 Service Manual on pages 85-86 we read that “Brief excerpts from such material may be part of their personal sharing at meetings. In a spirit of unity, it is suggested that only Al‑Anon and Alateen Conference approved Literature be used and displayed at meetings.”
That made me feel more comfortable. :)

doxie, i am glad u came to this point of taking care of U...what ever U decided in the future as to relationship, it will based on healthy taking care of U......some folks end it...some don't...but whatever, i am glad u r keeping focus on u...that is where it needs to be...peace/rosie
