We are where we are for a reason. As long as that reason remains, we remain where we are. If we aren't where we think we should be, working the program will help us get to where our deepest self longs to be. This is growth.And growth is work. We must be willing to do the simple things that our new understanding asks of us. We are never given more than we can handle, and the loving help we need along the way is always available. But we never get this help in advance, only as we need it.Am I seeking growth?Higher Power, help me want to grow and be willing to do the simple things, day by day, that add up to big changes.

(alcohol/ drugs/ suicide) so people DO get more than THEY can handle, but if they "toss it off" them and RELEASE the karma???? let go to a higher power???? the chances are better that they can come out of it.......i think we all wrote our life charts to survive this life...i do, but somehow we get derailed....life hands one one too many blows and they don't get back up...i was so nearly there you could not see day light between my back and the mat...i think the referee was counting 9-1/2 when i stagged back up, and got myself into recovery..but for me???? this program was my "last ditch effort" to consider living, i was OUTTA HERE if this didn't work!! thank goodness it is working for me, so i am sticking around for the refreshments at the end...........my loving help was this program.....i now try to keep my life simple and basic....take Xtra care of me/ working on my relationship with me, and trying to be a blessing to the universe.....until i get further in my inner child grief work, though, i am keeping it REAL basic and quiet!!! i "need me for me" now, and others are going to have to understand that i am temporarily "out of the pocket" taking loving care of me...i am doing this workbook, called "repeat after me" and i can tell its gonna really get into some stuff....but i am prepared, i am ready, i am working the program....
