Thank you all so much for the much needed support. Today I got good news. I am going to be able to go to school and still get help from the county! So I won't have to go back to childcare, I will get some office skills under my belt and go in that direction. Thank you HP!!!!!! I know it will be a lot of work going to school but it will be worth it when i get that job that will support my family. A job that won't leave me physically and mentally exhausted, no patience for my own children! I figure that I will have to work part-time too but hopefully I can do it. Amazing how letting go can really make a difference. No matter what happens, I know I will be okay. i hope all of you, my friends, find love and peace today. You all deserve the best life has to offer!!
Love Julie

Julie,
Thank you for responding to my post.
I agree totally, when we have an alternate plan everything becomes easier. We cannot count on our addicts, but we can hope they will recover.
My life came together when I realized that I could do it alone---but it's so much easier and better with the 2 of us. But I know I can do it and so does my husband.
Good luck to you.

YAY!!
Thanks for the update. It is amazing how good we start to feel when we develop some independance from our Alcoholic loved ones, no matter who they are in our lives!
Take care!
