just to pass on this little bit of friendly advice...
in my anger and hate filled state a while back...i was walking throu a bookstore lost in my own thoughts when i had the urge to glance to my left... at eye level a book stared back at me it was called.. "Chicken Soup for the Soul"... there were 5 different books.... books for a "Teenagers soul" "mothers soul" etc....
i was drawn to them so i purchased one..... it only cost €12.
well........
...... it let me escape from all my misery.... it is a collection of short stories that reflect how your soul should cope with situations and feelings. the stories are all 2-3 pgs long at the most...but oh my god...they make you stop and think.
i had been so full of hate and anger in the past 6 mths...fuelled by my ex's drinking behaviour and slappers hanging around at every opportunity.... as they live in my area...i see their smug expressions nearly every day... i had felt like belting them with baseball bats or running them over in my car..... now..... hhmm.. let them to god!
the book made me calmer... i laughed at some stories, cried at others..... then found a small bit of peace inside my soul. all the anger was making me sick...it was directed at everyone yet i was the only one suffering....
if anyone wants to look outside their own situation and find a little peace and love...this is the BOOK to do it.....
