Hi everyone! I have always wanted to open my own business, but never did anything about it. Well, about six months ago I applied for a women's entreprenuer program. They had 110 applicants. All of the applicants had to go to a screening. Only 10 would be chosen to go through the program. I kept praying. The day of the screening, we had to take a math test, compete in an open business scenario forum, write our business idea in detail on a sheet of paper, and had a private interview with the judges. I asked God to speak through me and to guide me through the entire process. After it was over, I was told if we were chosen we would be contacted by mail in 2 to 3 weeks. I received a letter from them on Friday. I was chosen!!! I couldn't believe it! I was so happy. I called my family(big mistake) and they basically told me I needed to forget about it and just get a job. I met someone after I first applied and he drove 7 hours to spend an extended weekend to see me. I received the letter while he was here. He was so excited. He gave me a big hug. We had so much fun together and had such wonderful heart to heart talks. The night before he left I wanted to express my concerns about our relationship and the geographical distance between us. He wants "us" to work out so said he would probably move. I cannot believe all this is happening. There's something so wonderful between us that I haven't found with anyone else. God is truly working miracles in my life and I am so grateful. I wanted to share my good news with all of you.
