I am new to the forum. Not new to program. I have found Al-Anon to be the missing link to my spiritual quest and to my well being. I have lived with the disease as a wife for over 20 years. My husband has almost 5 years in recovery however we just separated a month ago after 24 years of marriage. Another woman in his program was the catalyst although the separation was a long time coming. I am having a hard time with the hole that is overwhelming me right now but I know it is the beginning of the journey to wellness and recovery for me.
I go to meetings, I have a sponsor and I am working the first step. I am so grateful for the program and am glad a friend led me to this forum.
Love and Peace,
Michelle

Hi Michelle and welcome to Miracles in Progress
This is a wonderful support group.
There are meetings in the chat room at 9am and 9pm est.
I am seperated from my husband of 14 years since May of this year.
We are getting a divorce.
There is a large hole in my life also, but slowly and surely I am filling it in with new ideas, new hobbies and new friends.
Keep coming back

mish63,
Welcome to the board. I have learned so much here and have learned that we are not alone. My husband moved out in June after 31 years of marriage. I never stopped loving him but he said he didn't love me. I strive for acceptance and filling the void with love for myself. Our HP's never stop loving us. Keep coming back!
