   I would like to wish each and every one of you happy, serene holidays.  I have been very anxious about tonight's family get together, and it is now upon me.  Luckily I was able to make it to a f2f this morning.  I left there filled with gratitude.  Hearing how sad others are at this special time of year made me realize how lucky I am.  I have a family that may be dysfunctional, but I know they love me.  I have a program.  I have all of you here at mip who have helped me in my recovery.  I have a wonderful sponsor whose guidance and listening ear is always available I will try not to dwell on past holidays that were filled with drama and insanity. I am not going to try to control the evening.  I have my hp with me, and I am happy.  Blessings and love to all of you.

(((danz))) I'm right there with you GF. This holiday is going to be great because I'm going to make it so. No grief over what A is doing or not doing. I'm going to enjoy my children and grandchildren and count the blessings HP has offered, they are mine for the taking :) Christy
