I've shared before that I work in an Assisted Living Center and that one of our residents was a man in his 50 with multiple health problems. He has the most amazing attitude that always humbles me. He is so positive through all his illnesses. He could not longer afford to live in our facility and moved to a nearby foster home. Well, he came to visit last weekend to wish everyone a Merry Christmas(his favorite holiday). Since this is a small town he is able come visit in his electric wheelchair. He's always been a little reckless driving that wheelchair and sure enough he was hit by a truck on his way home from his visit. He was banged up pretty bad but will be okay. I know that his higher power is a strong force in his life and he is thankful for every day of his life. I've never seen him attend a pity party! It just amazes me how positive he can be at all times. He is truly an inspiration to me and also a miracle. Tonight I thank my HP for what I do have! Please send my friend a prayer tonight-he'll love it. Whitie :)

Thank you for your story.  It amazes me the struggles people are living through as I get bogged down in my own depressions.  How does this happen?  I don't know but I know I need to work on the Not feeling sorry for myself, too.
