You all are fantastic - thanks for all the hugs and congratulations!  I am so excited and really feel loved by you all.  My ex was the first one to encourage me to go for this new business and the new job - knowing I would be good for it and giving me the courage to go for it.  Now I have both - I have a swim school which I have ALWAYS wanted and the Aquatic Director position (which at my current job am an assistant aquatic director) for the same facility my swim school is located.  This is a dream come true - on TOP of that I get to attend this university and get my masters for free.  Everything I ever wanted for MY life is starting to finally happen.  Its very hard to know I shouldnt pick up the phone today and call him to tell him I got everything I wanted and more and that I am so happy he encoraged me to do it.  I know in my heart my HP made all of this happen - from breaking my arm in October so that I could find out about his addiction, to making me end the relationship so that I had the time to focus on my business and career, to giving me this opportunity 5 days before Christmas.

If I never believed in a God - I sure do now...

Dear Cyn, I was feeling a bit down and your post picked me right up! Well done, you deserve this, you have worked hard, and will keep doing so, and make a big success of it all!!! Thought I would let you know - I am going swimming on Christmas Day! There is an open air pool not too far from me, it used to be owned by the local authority, they wanted to shut it down and residents who used the pool grouped together to make it a community-owned resource. Every year, I mean to go, but I have no transport, this year, an alanon friend has offered to take me in her car. We will be swimming from around 8.00a.m till 10.00 a.m. Happy Christmas, Love, Flora xxxxx
